Advanced pipe cutting system
Pipe and Circular Hollow Section (CHS) can be cut on the Metaltek XB1200 by importing 3D models into the controller. Components are automatically nested into the appropriate material and added to the job queue. If you can draw it, the XB1200 can cut it.
Cut directly from 3D Models
STL files can be exported from almost all 3D CAD programs. Simply open them and cut. Bevels and weld preps are supported. Part numbers can be automatically etched.
NC1/DSTV Compatible
Pipe files can be cut from NC1 files exported from steel detailing software. (Note some industry software can produce poor quality NC1 files for pipe)
DXF file support
2D CAD pipe developments can be cut directly through the import of DXF files. (Correct formatting is required). Supports etching of part numbers etc.
Pipe rotation is fixed
Because the pipe is always clamped by one of the jaws, there is no risk of rotation or losing alignment during cutting.
Heavy duty capability
Heavy duty pipe can be processed up to 40mm wall thickness with up to 45 degree bevels.
